MIXING (SUPERPOSITION) OF ATOMIC ORBITALS IN CHEMISTRY
Hybridized orbital; Hybridised orbital; Hybrid orbital; Hybrid atomic orbital; Sp² bond; Sp2 bond; Orbital hybridization; Sp hybridized; Sp hybrid orbital; Sp3 carbon; Hybridization (chemistry); Sp2 hybridization; Hybridization theory; Sp³ bond; Sp3 bond; Sp hybridization; Sp hybridizations; Hybrid orbitals; Sp3 hybridization; Sp orbitals; Atomic hybridization
In chemistry, orbital hybridisation (or hybridization) is the concept of mixing atomic orbitals to form new hybrid orbitals (with different energies, shapes, etc., than the component atomic orbitals) suitable for the pairing of electrons to form chemical bonds in valence bond theory.
Idiopathic orbital inflammatory disease
HUMAN DISEASE
Orbital pseudotumor; Idiopathic Orbital Inflammatory Disease
Idiopathic orbital inflammatory (IOI) disease refers to a marginated mass-like enhancing soft tissue involving any area of the orbit. It is the most common painful orbital mass in the adult population, and is associated with proptosis, cranial nerve palsy (Tolosa–Hunt syndrome), uveitis, and retinal detachment.
Frontier molecular orbital theory
In chemistry, frontier molecular orbital theory is an application of MO theory describing HOMO/LUMO interactions.

Orbital fascia

The Orbital Fascia forms the periosteum of the orbit.

It is loosely connected to the bones and can be readily separated from them.

Behind, it is united with the dura mater by processes which pass through the optic foramen and superior orbital fissure, and with the sheath of the optic nerve.

In front, it is connected with the periosteum at the margin of the orbit, and sends off a process which assists in forming the orbital septum.

From it two processes are given off; one to enclose the lacrimal gland, the other to hold the pulley of the Obliquus superior in position.
